Meet Coach Stephanie
I have been coaching volleyball athletes since 2008, and over the years I've discovered that my greatest passion isn't simply teaching volleyball—it's helping young athletes discover what they're capable of.
Throughout my coaching career, I've worked with boys and girls of all ages, from beginners taking their first steps onto the court to competitive athletes striving to reach the next level. I've also led a high school volleyball program for three years, giving me the opportunity to mentor athletes both on and off the court through some of the most important years of their development. I have also created, developed, and maintained both Kids and Teens CrossFit programs.
What continually drives me is a simple question:
Why is this athlete struggling?
Rather than assuming an athlete simply needs to "work harder," I believe every movement tells a story. Sometimes the challenge is strength. Sometimes it's mobility, coordination, balance, body awareness, or confidence. My goal is to understand the root cause so I can help athletes build lasting skills instead of temporary fixes.
That philosophy inspired the creation of Athlete Foundations. Athlete Foundations is built on the belief that every young athlete deserves a strong foundation before specializing in a single sport. By developing movement quality, strength, coordination, resilience, and confidence, athletes gain skills that transfer not only to volleyball, but to virtually every athletic endeavor—and ultimately to life.
